Our commitment to Indoor Air Quality:
Our commitment began in 1979 before indoor air quality became an industry buzzword.
We have had a Cal-EPA Registered Environmental Assessor on staff full time since 1990.
We have been qualified as an expert witness in this field.
We actively participate in indoor air quality research:
  - 1992 Co-authored research work statement on Virus Control through Filtration. RP-776
- 1992-94 Chairman, Project Monitoring Subcommittee for RP-776 contract with University of Minnesota.
- 92- present, member of T.C. 2.4 Filtration devices
- 99- present, member of GPC-17, Task- establish standard for air sampling for dust particulates in homes and buildings.

Our commitment to Community:

In 1995 our president founded Outreach Heating & Cooling, Inc. to serve the needs of low income families in southern Alameda County and all of Santa Clara County. Mechanical Air Service has always had a history of doing this type of work; however, forming this new organization greatly expands the ability to serve those in need.

Mechanical Air Service provides free rent, clerical support, accounting, dispatch service, insurance and utilities to Outreach Heating & Cooling.
100% of all program service revenues are used to serve others.
Most services are provided for free
Outreach has no paid employees.
All directors serve as unpaid volunteers.
Since 1995 Outreach's services have benefited over 3500 people.
